Nothing is An Accident

Life’s Priorities

Blogging is a strangely addictive thing – possibly more so for a person like me who is not as expressive with talking as i hope to be (i’m still learning!). Writing seems to be an easier way of organising my thoughts. Or maybe i’m just a slow person, needing time to process and understand thoughts and stuff put across. In any case, that’s why i’d rather spend the previous 15 minutes of my ‘in-between’ study breaks to do either magic stuff or blog.

Yesterday the group of me, SY, RJ and Jean went out for lunch together, in celebration of SY’s birthday. And we touched upon how some people view studies as the top priority of their life (Oh yes, i met some before!), so much so they almost go crazy during exam periods. I do not, and i doubt i ever will, place studies so high in my list. Interestingly, from as young as primary school, i have never placed studies as a first – never, even when i was so-called getting all my second place in school standard or whatever. I believe that we all have priorities in life and you could say that study goes as low as i can allow it to. (And perhaps, this is to the chagrin of my mum)

What comes first on my list? Family and friends.

They are the bedrocks of my life and i hope to be the pillar of strength whenever they need to lean on someone. I may not be the best tree to lean upon, i don’t know if i am, but i’ll be the tree always there. 24/7. No matter what happens. Always.

Studies? They don’t come anywhere close in comparison.
