Random Bits…

Stole a bit of time on Friday after exams to head down to CHIJMES for the launch of Netbook X110 which Concept:Magic was doing. The launch went off without a hitch though there was some unforeseened circumstances. As always – Concept:Magic Team pulls through. I think the team has been awesome with 15 shows in 6 days. There was a mad rush for 5 of us after the launch to rush down to the Arena for the 2nd show after. With one more pair of hands, the show prep was faster and we ended up all ready way much faster than expected. Show was very well-received. Afterall, there is really no others like J C and Ning. Especially when they team up, they are the BEST and i really have not seen anyone within the industry in the country who can hold the crowd as they do. Work has been crazy for them though: J C and Ning both looked tired though and J C lost so much weight… *heart pain*

Friend of mine blogged about choosing between career and love. Made me think quite a bit. Guess different people have different definition of love and different ways of loving. In the Alchemist, there is a little part about the boy and the girl, and how the boy wanted to give up his personal legend for the girl, but in the end did not. My thoughts are still quite a confusing mess in my head… Hmm. Guess i will pen them down later on.

In all randomness, i now have a thumping headache and don’t want to touch my lecture notes, but i cannot afford to. I just can’t wait for it to be over. Next term’s timetable seems to leave more things for me to look forward to (finally a 4 days timetable whoohoo).

Flying off to Xiamen on the 17th and returning only on the 26th. Sigh. I actually rather stay in SG and ‘work’, but i think i do need the break too. (Work is ‘work’ because it never feels like a chore/work to me, i WANT to do it, unlike u-know-what) Acad has been pressing on me like concrete slabs.

Looking forward to catching the play with Pam and dinner with Ning after exams.
